  • I do not accept insurance at this time. However, a sliding scale is offered to clients in need of assistance.

  • All sessions are online. Before your first appointment, you will receive a secure link to a virtual appointment.

In-person sessions will be available in the near future. Please check back to see if in-person is available.

  • Yes. All virtual clients must be in the state of Texas at the time of the appointment, not driving, and in a private location where you are safe to speak freely.

  • Services are billed through a secure online payment system on the day services are received. Debit/credit card.

Consultation services are paid through Cash App.

  • No! Although some benefit from having someone listen to their story while reconstructing the timeline of events, others don’t…and therapy is not one size fits all. I practice from a future-oriented, solution-focused, and strengths-based approach, which means we will amplify your strengths and resources to achieve your goals for therapy. Interestingly, research shows that insight alone does not lead to change, but behavioral changes do, so we will emphasize what’s within your control. I will not pressure you to recount the past. Instead, we’ll discuss whether you feel it’s necessary based on your goals and proceed from there.

  • The number of therapy sessions depends on your individual needs and goals. I follow brief therapy models with the aim of helping you get back to your life as efficiently as possible. Although there's no fixed number for transformative change, our collaboration involves actively planning for the conclusion of therapy as we work together. In short, you won’t be in therapy forever.

  • Yes. A “sliding scale” functions as a tool to provide increased access to therapy services at various price points.

The cost is determined by the immediate, specific economic circumstances of the client.

If fees change, clients will be given timely notice before fees are increased.

  • Nope! As a licensed mental health professional, I work with you to create solutions that help you reach your goals, but ultimately, it’s up to you to do the work and decide what’s best for you.

Therapy is a collaborative effort, so the more you engage in and outside of the session, the better.

  • No. My services are strictly for counseling. I do not provide any divorce, child custody, or family court services, nor is it within my specialty to provide evaluations or documentation for the placement of minors or their families or assist in divorce proceedings.

Please contact your local county’s mental health office or do a Google search for a custody evaluator or forensic psychologist.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your healthcare provider and any other provider you choose for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
